Janet Thomas-Kobes, Director of Life Enrichment

I hail from the great state of Michigan (M Go Blue) where I received a BA degree in education and language arts. I also have a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary, a small protestant seminary in Holland, Michigan.

I have had many years of teaching. I also have worked as a chaplain and have had experience directing non-profit organizations. But, the work I have enjoyed most involves interaction with seniors. I have had approximately 12 years of experience as a Life Enrichment Director. It was and is the most rewarding work I have done.

My passions, beyond work, include singing, gardening, reading, walking in and studying nature and caring for my two dogs, Tanner and Lexi. It’s such a joy watching them enjoy the (dog) beaches in Florida.

I look forward to working alongside of the great staff at Terracina Grand. They are a dedicated, enjoyable group. And, I am most impressed with the residents at Terracina Grand who are always encouraging and friendly.
