Aging in Place... Our Unique Status

The unique licensing of Terracina Grand as an Assisted Living Community with a Limited Nursing License allows us to promote our 'Aging in Place' philosophy. This allows us to offer our assisted living residents the flexibility to meet their individual needs and deliver services to their apartment homes without requiring them to move to another area of the building. 'Aging in Place' allows freedom for changing circumstances, such as those listed below.

• If your health condition should change, additional services can be delivered directly to your apartment home as needed.
• As couples age at different paces, we are able to allow you to live together in the comfort of your apartment home, and personalized services are delivered when needed.
• Because we offer four unique levels of care, graduating to a different level is a smooth, comfortable transition. Our knowledgeable and caring staff will take care of all the details and help to make it an easier process, both for residents and their family.
• Couples who are needing different levels of care can still share time together and maintain a close relationship without one spouse having to be the caregiver for the other. This works especially well for couples when one is suffering from moderate to advanced Alzheimer's Disease. We are the only community in Naples that allows the spouse of a resident with Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related disorders to live with their spouse in one of our two memory programs.
• Terracina Grand is one of 10 locations in the U.S. to be awarded the Parkinson’s Proficient Accreditation of Exemplary Service, Program and Team Training by the Parkinson’s Foundation of the Heartland. Our community is deemed a “provider of choice” for those individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease. We also offer resident exercise programs specifically for Parkinsonian’s needs and bi-monthly support group meeting and educational lunches.
